Title: Re: Ecu part numbers for 2.7 engines Post by: vtraudt on February 20, 2012, 07:57:24 AM I extracted just the 2.7 engines from the file.
I would like to use this file to make a cross reference table. All this talk about 'boxes' and their letters needs some 'structure' for my understanding. Since most are S4 references, I would like to group all 'similar boxes' together, weather they are from an S4, A6 or Allroad. Looking up my current ECU number should tell me what other files may fit and what 'donor' cars they can be found in. Please add to the file any missing cars and 'boxes', and add the transmission type and model years. similar to this (from s4wiki/ecux list) ECU Property File A,K 121 C 126 D 125 F 128 H,J 123 M,L 120 T,AA 122 Title: ECU changeover Post by: mort1skoda on July 26, 2012, 03:20:26 AM Hi,
I have a Octavia 1.8t 2003mod AUM engine automatic transm. with ECU 06A906032HL. Is it possible for me to use a 06906032HJ ? Title: Re: Ecu part numbers Post by: ddillenger on November 04, 2012, 12:56:53 AM what vehicle did it come out of? Check the pinout of your vehicle vs the pinout of the donor vehicle. If that's the same, take it apart and verify it has the same hardware. After that, just program the immobilizer (or delete it) and you shouldn't have an issue.
At least that's the direction I'd take... Title: Re: Ecu part numbers Post by: cyril279 on April 23, 2013, 08:00:20 AM The doc in the original post lists aaa vw engines (earliest vr6 engine) but none of the subsequent vr6 engines, so I've compiled a partial list/xls to help fill in the gaps. I left out details of the latter 3.2L engines because I couldn't follow the transmission/coding variations, but feel free to fill that stuff in.
for all of the "compatible ecu" questions, from a hardware standpoint, it certainly seems as though matching the first nine vag numbers is a safe bet. Maybe that's super obvious already stated a-bazillion-gillion times already? fair-enough, flash-on Title: Re: Ecu part numbers for 2.7 engines Post by: nyet on April 23, 2013, 02:22:13 PM I extracted just the 2.7 engines from the file.
