Title: Wideband Calculation Post by: vavjettaw36 on September 27, 2016, 02:40:54 PM My tuner added the entry wrong in my ECU file for wideband. Anywhere to just recalculate the log to find out the wideband?
Here is the entry he added: WBAFR , {wideband AFR} , 0x381116, 2, 0x0000, {WBAFR} , 0, 0, 0.014688064, -7.35, {logging wideband AFR} Correct one: WBAFR , {wideband AFR} , 0x381116, 1, 0x0000, {WBAFR} , 0, 0, 0.014688064, -7.35, {logging wideband AFR} Note the "SIZE" of two. What is this "SIZE" parameter? and how can I use it to derive the true AFR value? I would just go out and simply relog but there is only a window of time I can do it because the traffic/cops. I highly doubt 1 byte is the "correct" one. Title: Re: Wideband Calculation Post by: vavjettaw36 on September 27, 2016, 06:42:23 PM 8 bit vs 16 bit word (1 byte vs 2 bytes)] Sorry you are right. I posted it wrong. 1 is wrong. 2 is right. Anyway to convert a calculated AFR?I highly doubt 1 byte is the "correct" one. Open the .ecu file and change the size from 1 to 2 and you will be good to go.

You can't convert a logged 8-bit value to a 16-bit, since half of the data is missing. |
