Title: KRKATE TTRS/RS Please
Post by: littco on October 26, 2016, 06:43:57 AM
Hi

Anyone help with KRKATE for the TTRS/RS3 file attached please. I know we want something for nothing, so I have attached the something in payment..

I'm working on using the RS3 injectors on the 2ltr Tfsi and worked out pretty much all the maps needed but can't narrow down the KRKATE. I think its somewhere around 0x1DEA3C but no sure exactly where..

As compensation in helping, I have attached an XDF with most of the injector maps setting for the 115B/018H and of course the TTRS/RS3 to help those looking to use the injectors.( no axis, but you can work those out if needed!)

Also when its been answered can it be merged with the EOI Thread please as it's more relevant there..

Edit.

Ttrs file herehttp://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=7119.0

What are the part #s of the injectors you're trying? AFAIK the RS3 injectors being used in the 2.0 TFSI are from the 8V RS3 with MED17. That ORI is from an 8J TTRS (MED9.1)

they are the same 8P or 8V
031L replaces 031H

Hi, Yes the 8V are the ones going to be used

07K906031L to be exact.

However I am yet to find the med17 original file from the engine to get the exact maps off so thought I'd spend my time at least getting something IE off the 8J and whilst I appreciate they are not the same it does help when comparing the CDL to 8J injectors to see how the maps vary..

If anyone has the med17 8V map handy I will happily crack on getting those maps as well if they are at all different, but the looks of the injectors are the same so figured the maps are as well

I've seen they need an adaptor on the actual injector to fit in the head.. do you know where these can be bought?

Are those injectors flowing more than the rs4 injectors ?Are they also having a better spray pattern in order to use them in the 2.0l TFSI engines ?

So i move on to those injectors....I have install them on a friends Golf 6R...After 3 revisions i have  get the car work really smooth ...At idle i have on channel 33 at VCDS +- 6% ...at low load (part throttle ) i see up to +8% . I can not yet go WOT due to that the car has a new forged engine and has to make some km more yet .

My only issue is that at cold start the car is working very rough for about 20-25sec(even though i have raised iddle to 900rpm) then it is perfect. I guess it is time play with KLTVTSV.

I attach my KRKTE and FKKVS, if anyone have made more progress on those injectors it is welcomed

Try dropping lowest load/RPM in HDR rail maps to 43bar

Title: Re: KRKATE TTRS/RS Please
Post by: lepatron972 on March 01, 2017, 06:41:12 AM
Hi, me for the idle, I have lowered the rail pressure to 40 bars, you must reach 0.51ms to be quiet. On the other hand it would be necessary to lower the rail pressure at the start which is at 40bar to 30 bars. I'm at work I can not give you the ID of now

PRSOLLINI? Default is 50bar. Once the engine has started for 1 second it moves over to the standard rail maps.

Hi I speak of PSHDRMST
and also the maps KFPR....
On 1000rpm 10% 4,0bar
On 1000rpm 15% 4,5bar
KRKATE 0,02160
FTLT +0,8/-0,8%
I re-calibrated KFKHFM to take into account my admission CTS turbo first then mount the injectors then formatting the other maps

A little update for me ... i changed the KFPR tables @1000 , @1500 to 4.0 bar ,still no better behaviour at cold start(the car is working very rough and the rpm are stragling to hold at near 600rpm) i even lower the KFPR at 3.0 bar still the same results. Also, at low loads i get some smoke from the exhaust (it reminds me the rs4 injectros behaviour )..I will try to make some changes to KLTVSTV.

If you're getting smoke, try knocking 40-60 degrees of injection angle off low load areas. Are your fuel trims pegged -25%?

Hey Gman,

Are you talking about the end of injection angle or the beginning angle?

Beginning. I'd take a screenshot but I'm 35,000 feet above Budapest just now and my data allowance is limited :)

Since know i have not touch the ignition angle tables...I will change them as you described and i will report back .

No i do not get -25% at low / mid throttle values...
