Title: Help me find the source of torque intervention Post by: SB_GLI on November 04, 2016, 06:08:14 AM I've been trying to track down this issue for a while now, and I finally got the time to add torque variables to my ecu file.
Attached logs are logs of a 3rd gear WOT pull and shortly after a part throttle 5th gear pull. I can see timing intervention when mibas > mizsol What would be the cause of this? I'm no expert, but I'm going to say the tune. ;D Title: Re: Help me find the source of torque intervention Post by: SB_GLI on November 04, 2016, 09:18:54 AM I'm no expert, but I'm going to say the tune. ;D But I have a 4 bar FPR. ;P It looks like there's something going on with dmar_w, though I can't make out what the logged values actually mean.. but there's certainly activity there. I will work backwards through the DMAR function and log more variables related to that function to get to the bottom of this. Title: Re: Help me find the source of torque intervention Post by: vwaudiguy on November 04, 2016, 09:28:29 AM But I have a 4 bar FPR. ;P Yes! I'll take a look later in the day if I get a moment. Title: Re: Help me find the source of torque intervention Post by: SB_GLI on November 04, 2016, 09:34:43 AM Okay, I lied about the 4 bar, lest anyone thinks that might be related to my problem. :)

I'll have to mess with the rest of ARMD later. I'm just going to enjoy this little victory for now.

Title: Re: Help me find the source of torque intervention Post by: vwaudiguy on November 05, 2016, 12:25:52 PM Is this from "messing with ARMD" or your little cheat. :)
Title: Re: Help me find the source of torque intervention Post by: SB_GLI on November 05, 2016, 01:32:54 PM still the cheat. After a while driving it, I am trying to find a reason why I would want it back on. part throttle and putting around seem smoother overall as well.
Title: Re: Help me find the source of torque intervention Post by: nyet on November 05, 2016, 01:39:47 PM part throttle and putting around seem smoother overall as well. I doubt it. I'd stick to only disabling it in first and for high torque request Title: Re: Help me find the source of torque intervention Post by: nubcake on November 05, 2016, 03:51:04 PM If you find that ARMD intervention is gone after FF'ing TMAR - do the next logical thing: revert it to stock, but FF the last row (column?) of KFDMDARO - to disable ARMD under WOT only. The effect should persist. :)

Also set KFDMDADP the same since the data in this table was similar (maybe I shouldn't have done this).
Didn't work. Intervention is back. Seems I will have to tinker with this more to figure it out. :-\ |
