Title: WinOLS to XDF tool? Spen, where are you? :( Post by: tobz on November 14, 2011, 01:02:09 PM Does anybody have spen's tool, and does anybody have a tool they've managed to cobble together, to convert WinOLS map files into an XDF format? I can't for the life of me get WinOLS running on my box and I'm not trying to reformat or anything... Tuner Pro works perfectly, and I think it looks better, so I'd rather use it if possible.
I'm working with an HS stock binary and I know ArgDub has a very good WinOLS map for HS, but I can't find an XDF at all. The WinOLS doesn't look (easily) converted either. :| Title: Re: WinOLS to XDF tool? Spen, where are you? :( Post by: carlossus on November 14, 2011, 01:18:51 PM Nyet made a tool, but because the .ols format has been changing through the versions it doesn't work with all Winols files. You can see his Java source if you want a crack at it ;D
discussed here:- http://www.nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=576.0 I'm sure Nyet wont mind me posting the link.: - http://svn.curtisfong.org/listing.php?repname=mesim&path=%2Ftrunk%2Forg%2Fnyet%2Fmappack%2F&peg=422#affec481b8a5e1ef94a63c70b85c8a993 Title: Re: WinOLS to XDF tool? Spen, where are you? :( Post by: judeisnotobscure on November 14, 2011, 03:01:28 PM I can't be without my winols... i do most of my tuning in tunerpro, but winols is such a powerful tool for map finding and comparing bins.

There is a reason why it's the standard software among chiptuners :) Title: Re: WinOLS to XDF tool? Spen, where are you? :( Post by: tobz on November 14, 2011, 04:43:17 PM Well I can't manage to find a copy of it that works, and Tuner Pro does work... it's clear cut in this case. :(
