Title: Interchangeability ME7.1.1 40 Mhz 022906032CE
Post by: c0r0n4 on December 10, 2016, 04:19:21 PM
Hi,

I've somehow bricked my MK5 R32 ECU while installing a Moates RR (I think due to ESD problems while soldering).
Resoldered a 29f800bb. Have checked all 44Pins to St10 Processor... but stops at varying Adresses whilst benchflashing (when it checks flash). Tried Manual prog. of Flash and EEPROM(good known state), but no luck.

So I got an an dirt cheap 022906032AK from Phaeton, Immod off, car moves on it's own again (like a bag of nuts). The CircuitBoard is different, I don't think I can use my old 032CE tune.

So how about an ECU from an Audi A3 3.2 022906032GH. Will there be problems due to differencies of the 832KB ST10 flash? --->EDIT: MPPS can copy the processor content

Edit:
Ah I've found the answers:

Jim_Coupe did similar to this: need to copy flash/processor/eeprom

Ah damn, I got another useless ECU. It has the wrong processor.

Does anyone know which part numbers the ST10 40Mhz ME711s have?
