Title: "Soft" launch control for me383 Post by: Dropout on January 08, 2017, 12:54:13 AM Has anyone done "soft" launch control (when the car is stopped, clutch and accelerator pressed to keep the revs at a set rpm, say 3500) for the me383, is it possible ? Could one of the 30 rpm limiter be used for this ?

Think these are a pain to define/get info for though aren't they? What's different in them compared to the later ones, should be able to work it out if you have a decent def file?
Should be one in the new def threads? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQSKUm73f7s Title: Re: "Soft" launch control for me383 Post by: Jim_Coupe on January 18, 2017, 04:17:22 AM What maps were involved.. anything you can show us?
I have a very well defined file for m3.8.3 But problem is that i have no car to test it on yet.. maybe in spring time. Title: Re: "Soft" launch control for me383 Post by: k0mpresd on January 18, 2017, 09:48:18 AM i have a hard limiter patch for these.

Both would probably be done in the same/similar way - they all have temp sensors and rpm maps, just different map names and layouts if anything. Shouldn't be too hard if you have it defined. Launch control on that one was just as per the wiki or threads; https://s4wiki.com/wiki/Tuning#Launch_control http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=151.0title= Title: Re: "Soft" launch control for me383 Post by: Dropout on January 20, 2017, 08:07:15 AM Did a soft one on a later ME7 Tip the other day, would have thought me3 not too dissimilar? For the me3.8.3 ? Care to share ? For example TLSN, TTMOT & DTSA.
