Title: ME7.5 Pin21 alternativ facts ?! Post by: aef on February 10, 2017, 09:36:26 AM Noob Section, Noob Question :)
We all know the bench flash picture with the pin21 to power If i have a look into a me7 wiring diagram i can see the motronic relais where 21 is delivering ground. My own bench flashing harnes has no cable to 21. so what happens if you provide power to ecu 21 or what is true here ??? Title: Re: ME7.5 Pin21 alternativ facts ?! That's why for my ME7.5 ECU (Seat Leon Cupra R) I downloaded the wiring diagrams fom erWin Seat and found that pin providing ground to the relay - exactly as you describe. So I omit the pin 21 and have not had any adverse effects.

my opinion is that pin 121 need 12V, and pin 21 pull up resistor like 1k Title: Re: Post by: macxxx on August 17, 2017, 04:09:13 PM I want to add as interesting fact that in Audi A8 D2 4.2v8 ECU ( i guess its me7.1 ) on the pin 21 there is +12v from ignition switch |
