I'd be very very surprised if the 018H didn't work or even the 018CB as between these 2 they've worked on a lot of the ecus ive seen ( except 018m and N)

I have found an bin file with a fine defined xdf that had the data I needed.
Meaning that same engine just a different ECU,
seemingly the values fit I just think that the injectors are old and tired :)

They became pretty decent with a little use and a couple of FKKVS fixes ;)

I compared the bootroms for the 018T and the other .bins listed

8N0906018T -   05.12/05.32 (512k)
8N0906018AN - 05.12/05.32 (512k)
8N0906018CB - 05.12 (1mb)
8L0906018M -   05.12 (1mb)
8N0906018H -   05.12 (1mb)
8N0906018CG - 05.12 (1mb)
8N0906018BH - 05.12 (1mb)

So the 018T and 018AN seem to both share the 05.12/05.32 bootrom.

Does this mean can not flash as file thats only 05.12?
What is the 05.12/05.32 is this a hybrid ecu like the b5 a4 my friend needed to run his S6 swapped 4.2 into a b5?

Also if someone has a XDF for the 018T or 018AN please share. I have found xdfs from most of the other files. I'm trying to make a Stage 1 file for a friends 225 TT as a gift for his birthday he is disabled from the miliarty and I'd like to get him setup with a tune for his bday.

I am mostly into the ME7 and ME7.1.1 in the A6/S4 2.7T so I'm still picking up on more info with these 1.8T it seems like there is so many combos of ecus and engine types when I'm use to just the APB and BEL engines and respected ECU's.


If I can cross flash a file that will work on this car that would be fine as long as the XDF's I have saved work or someone can supply one. I have tons of stuff saved as of tonight now that I have read more into this cross flashing ability now that I did more research also. I understand its a 512kb file etc.

018H & 018CB are 1mb files when the 018T is a 512k

Wish some answers where more helpful. Here I am trying to figure things out and supply information on cross-flashing and then I see posts that I was hoping where gonna be helpful nope just replys that where basically useless as I know you csntnflash the 1mb file to a 512kb nust got confused when it was suggested the one file could the used.
