Title: Boot pin Post by: Droo on May 18, 2017, 09:51:26 AM Hello, it's my first post here but since it's really hard to find info here if it's not pinned (search function is really useless in this forum and all in all it is the worst forum software I've yet got to use although the info here is lifesaving) before I try to bench connect to my ECU I want to check if I got the correct boot pin in mind or not since my ECU doesn't look like any other in the photos I've found. Also I'm not sure if I need to bootmode since I only want to dump 95040 to get my immo pin as I need it to replace my VP44 pumps controller but I failed to do so over the OBD with ECU still in the car, I've connected to ECU and all but process fails at the near end, also could connect only with 9600 baud rate. Anyway, here's the image. Is it the right pin? https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bxv0BQmNJ8DPUDNEaTdxMDJhTXc/view?usp=sharing (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bxv0BQmNJ8DPUDNEaTdxMDJhTXc/view?usp=sharing)
Title: Re: Boot pin Post by: Colt45 on May 19, 2017, 01:17:36 PM That should be correct, to enter boot mode you need to pull pin P0L.4 low on the C167. That's used as data bus 'D4' which is what is pin 24 on the flash ICs.
Here is pdf explaining how bootstrap loader works in C167 http://embedded.ifmo.ru/embedded_old/UK/KIUS/C167/CHAP13.PDF |
