Title: Newbie need help with rs6 4b stage 3 tune. Post by: dennisn on July 28, 2017, 01:45:35 PM Hello nefmoto-forum,
my name is dennis and im from germany. About my person: the last 5 years i only rebuild and tune porsche and some vag engines. 2 years ago i start with remaping ecus and make many succesfull stage 1 and 2 tunes, also with help from this forum. Now i have a project with a friend and his rs6 4b. the car get engine rubuild, upgrade turbos, 3 zoll pipe with 200er hjs kats, wagner intercooler and 630ccm siemsens deka injektor. My problem is that i never calibrate fueling with bigger injectors and bigger turbos without any diagramms. Thats why i register here. there are many forums for remaping but i think you guys are the best for vag petrol engines. I attach the ori file( the hole last week i fight with mtm tuning protecion) First i want to calibrate the injectors: Is it right that i have start with krkte and tvob? Would be nice i we could tune the car step by step with my logs togheter,if its necessary i will pay for help or spend to forum. BR Title: Re: Newbie need help with rs6 4b stage 3 tune. At the moment i look for information to calibrate the injector. It seams more difficult than I think with this injectors.... When the car runs i will post the logs. Big thanks to MattV8 for his mappack. Title: Re: Newbie need help with rs6 4b stage 3 tune. Post by: dennisn on July 30, 2017, 01:20:25 PM Is it right that for first start with the deka injectors its only necessary to mod krkte ans tvub, or do i miss something?
I attach picture of the values, are they okay? Thank your for help! Title: Re: Newbie need help with rs6 4b stage 3 tune. Post by: _nameless on July 31, 2017, 09:38:15 AM to start yes. block 32 is ltfs. set fkkvs all to 1's edit krkte until your ltft's are within 2-3% +/-. be sure you are using the right injector lag times too otherwise that will give you strage results when tunung krkte. also a wideband gauge would be best to verifly that fueling is good. best is to tune injectors with the turbos on wastegate spring pressure and stock maf. once you have your injectors dialed in you can use fkkvs to fix some odd lean / rich spots. next scale the larger maf

Do krkte also effects on idle injection ? I get ltft about 25% but only on the first bank second is bit lower , does it mean i need to rise up krkte? Which map i have to correct for injector lag time? I add an short log from vcds, wideband lambda comes next. car run like a tractor ;D Title: Re: Newbie need help with rs6 4b stage 3 tune. Post by: dennisn on July 31, 2017, 01:35:53 PM Now i understand what do you mean with injector lag time, TVUB. Sorry for my english....
Do i have to rise up tvub in low volts or how i can get richer in idle? Thanks! BR Title: RS6 4b help for stage 3 remap Post by: dennisn on August 20, 2017, 11:35:42 AM Hi,
Today i make the first ride with the custom rs6 from a friend. Car get upgraded turbos, wagner intercooler, 630 dekas, 3" pipes with 200z hjs cats, compression reduktion and a revised gearbox After many experimantal car run with a krkte of 0.52 and tvub values of 6,882v-7,9552v-9,9264v-11,8976v-15,9104v 1,34968ms - 1,19228ms - 0,91798ms - 0,77389ms - 0,25105ms. ltft and stft look okay but in some area afr rise up to 1.25. Should i start to correkt fkkvs? Annother problem is the boost, it raise up to 2500mb and then waste-gate open... Is there a solution for the 5120 hack for me7.1.1? A member in this forum start to make this work but its still in progress. Or do i musst limit boost to 2550mb? And if yes how i must to do it, the limiter are allready reduced i think. Thank you for every help! If someone want to make this tune together with me, i will of course pay for help. Title: Re: Newbie need help with rs6 4b stage 3 tune. Post by: dennisn on August 21, 2017, 03:09:04 PM Which values do you want to see nyet?

Post by: nyet on August 22, 2017, 04:40:03 PM typical corner cutting To be fair, the problem is that ME7Logger isn't a GUI with lots of documentation and a default "these are the critical variables you need to log". Title: Re: Newbie need help with rs6 4b stage 3 tune. Post by: prj on August 22, 2017, 11:37:32 PM Always a great idea to build a project for multiple thousand $ and then let a noob tune it and destroy it.
How cheap people are... RS6 with modified gearbox (which needs proper gearbox map btw) is really not the car where you should learn to linearize fuel injectors. I hope the owner knows you are experimenting on his car. And also, this is kinda a DIY forum aimed at enthusiasts, not so that we can tune the car for you and you can sell that knowledge for money... Title: Re: Post by: dennisn on August 22, 2017, 11:42:25 PM In last therard i ask a concrete question and get no answer for weeks and now i get a few useless answer in one day. Thank you very much!
I know how to do logs but i dont want to drive a car that run so poor thats why i ask if krkte and tvub is okay because there are many different values for this. It dont matter anymore... If someone got the same car and the same Compilations i will be glad to help. |
