Title: 1.8T 225 Stock KFMIRL KFMIOP Post by: Pasteurised on August 03, 2017, 05:10:47 PM Hey guys, so I was playing around with the me7 tuner wizard.
I input the stock kfmirl values from my 1.8t 225 map, and it suggested a max load value of 208 on the kfmiop axis, but the stock axis goes to 191. Would there be any benefit to changing the last axis value to 208 and using the generated values for that column? Title: Re: 1.8T 225 Stock KFMIRL KFMIOP Post by: adam- on August 04, 2017, 01:36:35 AM Use stock maps and just up last row.
Title: Re: 1.8T 225 Stock KFMIRL KFMIOP Post by: Pasteurised on August 04, 2017, 02:06:43 AM Ok cool so just change 191 to 208 and fill in the column with the values suggested by the wizard?
I noticed that changing the last axis value on kfmirl also changes it in kfzwop, is there any other tables that need to be adjusted? Title: Re: 1.8T 225 Stock KFMIRL KFMIOP Post by: 4ringpieces on August 04, 2017, 02:11:00 AM Irl is the desired, iop is the fucker
Set your irl to your desired load as you want it. Tune iop so you don't have intervention You need me7logger and the right variables but trust me the esp and everything will work like a dream if you tune it well There's lots of miss information about irl and iop on here just filter out most of the crud. Title: Re: 1.8T 225 Stock KFMIRL KFMIOP Post by: adam- on August 04, 2017, 03:11:21 AM The wizzard didn't work for me, choppy part throttle, terrible idle, bucking.
Used stock BAM. Why try and edit something that's perfect stock? Title: Re: 1.8T 225 Stock KFMIRL KFMIOP Post by: Pasteurised on August 04, 2017, 04:55:50 AM That's the thing I don't really get, the stock bam kfmirl has values of 222 but the stock kfmiop axis only goes up to 191, that's why the wizard is suggesting to change the kfmiop axis to 208.
I would only be changing the last axis column and it's values so part throttle and idle shouldn't be affected. Title: Re: 1.8T 225 Stock KFMIRL KFMIOP Post by: 4ringpieces on August 04, 2017, 05:02:21 AM You change the iop axis so esp etc works better and isn't guessing when you go over 191 actual load
Literally, forget the idea that irl and iop have to be the exact same, they don't. Your values in iop are torque efficiency worked by lambda and timing influence. You need me7logger and intervention variables to see what I mean. Use the 16x16 interpolator excel sheet on this page. Paste KFMIRL and edit the axis to the correct values. Delete the data in the generated KFMIOP already in the sheet but not the axis, Then change the axis to what you want and hit generate. This should give you a pretty precise IOP calculation with a non stock load axis. No need to edit IRL, your stock turbo should not exceed those numbers :) Title: Re: 1.8T 225 Stock KFMIRL KFMIOP Post by: Pasteurised on August 04, 2017, 05:32:54 AM Awesome thank you guys!
Do I need to change the axis in any other tables to reflect this change? Title: Re: 1.8T 225 Stock KFMIRL KFMIOP Post by: Pasteurised on August 04, 2017, 06:56:38 AM Ok for 218 load I've got the values:
100 100 100 100 100 100 100 100 100 100 100 100 100 100 100 97 I've altered Kfzwop/2 last rows, to reflect the load axis change. ;) Title: Re: 1.8T 225 Stock KFMIRL KFMIOP Post by: adam- on August 04, 2017, 07:30:58 AM You'll never reach 100%, go to 95.
Title: Re: 1.8T 225 Stock KFMIRL KFMIOP Post by: Pasteurised on August 04, 2017, 09:18:30 AM If I'm changing the table values to 95, should I also set the axis to 95% of 218?
Title: Re: 1.8T 225 Stock KFMIRL KFMIOP Post by: 4ringpieces on August 04, 2017, 03:19:03 PM In iop 100% means you can have 100% torque efficiency
If you put 85% and the car makes 95% you will have intervention cutting in to try pull you to 85% it'll do it through ignition, boost and fuel. Top tips never let the car be over 100% actual efficiency, for some reason shit gets real weird. So if your crazy and added timing to your kfzw you need to add the same amount to the kfzwop in the same areas to keep the efficiency in the same % or below 100% Title: Re: 1.8T 225 Stock KFMIRL KFMIOP Post by: 4ringpieces on August 04, 2017, 03:26:43 PM You need in your me7 logger cfg
etazwbm Mifa_w Miist_w Misol_w Miszul_w Log them with you current setup include the basic variables of timing fuelling, load and boost I'll screen shot it and explain where Title: Re: 1.8T 225 Stock KFMIRL KFMIOP Post by: Pasteurised on August 05, 2017, 06:14:05 AM ok cool I'll get it logged asap.
So if my understanding is correct. KFPED relates throttle pedal position to a load request percentage of maximum. KFMIRL turns that load request percentage into a desired load vs rpm. Actual load is limited by LDRXN. KFMIOP translates Load into percentage of maximum engine torque for use In torque monitoring. So if your LDRXN isn't higher than the last column of the stock KFMIRL, KFMIRL and KFMIOP don't need to be altered. I think yes we didn't need touch KFMIRL,KFMIOP maps...I compare maps from 210HP and 225 HP Leon and are the same only LDRXN is higherSo if my understanding is correct.
