Title: Re: Looking for a file for 8D0907551M Post by: nyet on August 29, 2017, 07:24:01 PM 1) Why did you post it in the definitions file section? I have moved it for you. It doesn't really even belong here.
2) this forum is not for handouts. It is DIY forum. 3) what, exactly, are you trying to "figure out"? Not a great start. I doubt you'll last long here. Title: Re: Looking for a file for 8D0907551M Post by: Playa_X on August 29, 2017, 07:25:50 PM Oh sorry I didn't mean to do that. I just started reading about how I can make my own tune and it says I need a file but I don't know how to make a file? Is there any advice you can get me please?

Ask specific questions, and I will answer. Title: Re: Looking for a file for 8D0907551M Post by: Playa_X on August 30, 2017, 12:05:08 PM Ok, this is my question. How do I make a file for my car this is my current set up oem Borg warner k04 turbos, 440cc green giant injectors, awe 90mm maf housing with Bosch sensor.
Any help is much appreciated Title: Re: Looking for a file for 8D0907551M Post by: nyet on August 30, 2017, 12:21:31 PM That is not a specific question.
Title: Re: Looking for a file for 8D0907551M Post by: Playa_X on August 30, 2017, 12:26:58 PM How can I make the file for my set up?
Title: Re: Looking for a file for 8D0907551M Post by: nyet on August 30, 2017, 01:02:18 PM How on earth is that a specific question?
How is your set up different from stock? If you use the stock file, what works and what doesn't work? Title: Re: Looking for a file for 8D0907551M Post by: Playa_X on August 30, 2017, 01:25:43 PM So all I need to do is extract the stock file from the ecu to my pc make the adjustments needed like the Injectors, maf, and turbos?..
Title: Re: Looking for a file for 8D0907551M Post by: nyet on August 30, 2017, 01:28:51 PM How did you plan to do the tuning when you installed the parts?
Title: Re: Looking for a file for 8D0907551M Post by: Playa_X on August 30, 2017, 01:32:11 PM I don't understand your question. Are asking if I wanted to either flash the ecu or chip? I wanted to flash the ecu initially

Title: Re: Looking for a file for 8D0907551M Post by: Playa_X on August 31, 2017, 03:55:04 AM I planned a custom tuning from a local tuner but he is not available to tune anymore that's why am looking into it

Title: Re: Looking for a file for 8D0907551M Post by: Playa_X on August 31, 2017, 01:17:12 PM The maf sensor is a 90mm. bigger housing.
Injectors are 42lbs or 440cc are bigger than stock. And k04 turbos are bigger than k03s, which means it's flowing more air to the engine. Title: Re: Looking for a file for 8D0907551M Post by: Playa_X on August 31, 2017, 07:40:30 PM Air to fuel ratio?

Will be wrong unless you tell the ECU you changed injectors. I'm not sure this is the place to teach the most general tuning concepts :/ Title: Re: Looking for a file for 8D0907551M Post by: Playa_X on August 31, 2017, 08:14:15 PM So what I need to do is extract the stock file into my pc change the Injector size, maf size, and the turbos size?

Read https://s4wiki.com/wiki/Tuning Or better search a local tuner in your area and pay him. Title: Re: Looking for a file for 8D0907551M Post by: Ephry on September 01, 2017, 06:04:14 PM The S4 wiki is a great source of information. A little logic and common sense goes a long way. Why not use the stock maf and size and start from there?
