Title: ME7.5.10 and 95040 Post by: izoom on September 08, 2017, 02:46:11 AM I read my VW Polo ME7.5.10 ECU using Argdubs 95040 software in the car using a KKL cable. I made a change to the bin file but the softwear would not flash back into the eeprom. I read that this would not work and that it would have to be done on the bench. So I have got some wire, clips a battery. But I do not want to burnout any components or damage the ECU, so I am asking if anyone who has successfully flashed to a ME7.5.10 using Argdubs 95040 software on the bench can show me a wiring diagram for the ECU PINS and using a VAG KKL USB cable setup. I have looked, but I want opinions on the best diagram/wiring for this,

Used the diagram for wiring, KKL cable in Com2, battery at 14Volts (can see it in device manage and is Ok, and LED is lit) I tried me7_eeprom.exe –OBD -r -p 2 95040.bin says connecting, and I get the error fail 0x21007, KKL cable was connections were….. 4, ground - 7, kline 16, 12 volts + Whats wrong? izoom Title: Re: ME7.5.10 and 95040 Post by: fknbrkn on September 12, 2017, 04:46:31 AM that bench working good for me
what about vcds? is it connects? did you try bootmode? Can I write to the ME7.5.10 in the car using me7_eeprom and KKL cable? what about vcds? is it connects? did you try bootmode? |
