Just wanted to make a custom welcome however from further research it looks like you are right that the information is stored in the micronas chip. Furthermore it is said to be encrypted which gives me yet another barrier to entry.

Anyway, make a dump of the cpu and search for it. It should be fairly easy to dump these Micronas mcu's using a tool like Xprog for example. Rgs H2Deetoo Title: Re: Post by: macxxx on October 02, 2017, 03:44:57 AM H2Detoo is right - there should be no encrypted data , especially in B5 S4 cluster ,vdo crypto clusters showed up in my2002 A6 C5 , A3 8L , A8 D2 , A2 , but only the eeprom od crypted and is always decrypted when reading thru kline
