Title: Stock map from brazil with e85 - e100 ?
Post by: wayne on October 02, 2017, 02:36:43 AM
Hi everyone,

I was tweaking a few things on my map for e85 when it occured to me that there must be some stocks maps, e85 complient, for the brazilian market that would be a better start for tuning on e85.
I have an a3 8l 1.8t AUM 032FC.

Do you know how VAG deals with the brazilian market (ecu maps wise) ? Any ori file from brazil that are compabitible with e85 ?

I´m from Brazil... no file compliant, here we have something between E20 and E27 (depend on the year) only... or E100 (that is a HUGE diference from E85)

about diference in files, on Golf GTi 180cv the diference is an enrichment about 8% in FKKVS...on A3 180 (That here is narrowband with K03-026 only in MT) Audi just used another injector 10% bigger.

Is there something else I can Help, just let me know

So the stock 1.8t 180 can't run on e100 ?

Im wondering which cars run on this e100 in brazil then

Original golf 180cv file, E22 fuel

After 2007 VW state that would make 193cv on Podium (95 AKI octane rating), even with same file, injectors and K03-053 for the 180cv version

This car was on the market in the time we had E20~E22 here...at now we hae E25~E27 (podium/premium ~regular fuel)

Hello everyone, interesting discussion, I am trying to understand which maps do the ignition advance control when on the E100, or whether the ECU uses a correction factor, in the material available from one less than the maps ending in "AL", there are several, as in the case of a file I am studying.
I think it would be possible to make adjustments only when the profile assumed by the ECU is E100, taking into account that the majority of vehicles in Brazil are Flex Fuel.

There is an off-set that is rpm x k factor.

K-factor is the calculated ethanol in moisture based only in lambda feedback and knock.

ECU calculate k factor when some conditions occurs,  mainly if you fill more than 15 liters, lambda probe was previoulsy validated, knock sensors has no fault, etc

So supposing that I want to modify spark advance only when filled with alcohol could I work on top of KFDZWAL?

As I understand it so far the values of KFDZWAL will be added to KFZW, is that right?

I am still assimilating the new knowledge to understand how the timing routine works when there is pre-ignition and the speed with which everything goes back to normal.
