Title: ecufix unrecognized

has anybody used the genuine and cracked version of ecufix? both say my bin is invalid and cant recognize the software id.
i don't understand how when i am using a valid bin and a valid version of the program
anybody explain?

is there a step i am missing to get the cracked version working?

yeah but i dont see what is going wrong if i am even trying the trial version and it doesn't even recognize my bin

The software does not recognize every ME7 bin. Simple as that. Andy needs to add each specific soft version. If you purchased his fine software, you can do like the software says, and e-mail him the binary.

i was just confused because i have been helped before by another member(s) using ecu fix to fix my no start issues with this exact bin

Or use ME7Sum.

It's free, and if a bin doesn't work I can always add support for it.

does me7sum fix the error with adding nls and 2step via the script?
cause unless i did it wrong it didnt fix my no start p0601
and when i came here for help marty and sb_gli helped me out and used ecufix

No, because you are mindlessly using a script to modify a file without understanding the side effects. Is NLS that important to you, especially a broken implementation that you don't understand?

Disabling RSA checking is not "fixing" anything.

i was just asking because somebody asked if i could add it to their file and i aid maybe...
