Ok, i'm tryin to delete EGTs on my S4 B5 D box. I installed tunerpro, looked for proper XDF file (i think i found it but if someone has proper D box XDF file i would be greatful), i have my bin file from my ecu, did lots of reading till my eyes bled out, tryin to learn about Tunerpro and i'm stuck on changing offsets in CDATR, CDATS etc. S4 wiki says that i change these offsets:

EGT
Removal

If you want to disable your EGT sensors:[64] (Note that my old M-box xdf is wrong[65] for CDATR/ATS. Please use these offsets.)

    CDATR (0x18196) - Configuration byte diagnosis exhaust gas temperature regulation
    CDATS (0x18197) - Configuration byte diagnosis exhaust gas temperature sensor
    CATR (0x192CA) - Configuration byte exhaust gas temperature regulation (disables ATR)[66][67][68]

Alternately, setting both of these to their maximum (1229) may help: [69]

    TABGSS (0x1C514) and TABGSS2 (0x1C516) - Desired exhaust gas temperature for EGT regulation

You shouldn't have to touch these, but are included here for completeness:

    CLAATR - Error class exhaust gas temperature regulation
    CLAATR2 - Error class exhaust gas temperature regulation bank 2
    CLAATS - Error class exhaust gas temperature sensor
    CLAATS2 - Error class exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2


But change offsets how and where?!?

I've got this in TP, can someone please tell me what should change and how  ??? ??? ???

Value is correct? What value? That's my question exactly, what value should I change o.O?

You need to understand the changes you make, before you make them.

The changes you want to make is described in detail with a guide.
And you still don't know what to do.

For your own sake, don't do anything until you know what you are changing.
You will likely damage your ECU or engine.

Unless you accept that risk, then go ahead and do whatever you like :)

And don't take this as a slap in the face but rather motivation to learn
a new skill that will give you a lot of fun.

This forum have all the info you'll need, and if it's not there.
The are some VERY skilled people here that is willing to help,
provided they don't need to spoon feed you everything and you do the hard work yourself.

P.S.
the slider in the scalar should be all the way to the left, so the 1 becomes a 0. (So I don't leave you empty handed)

the value is 1
the offset is 0x18186; its a value location in your bin

change value to 0 to disable diagnosis
and do not forget about checksum

Well it is simple, but not mentioned anywhere. Was it so hard to mention - slider should be to the left all the way so value is 0  ::)? Anyway thank you for the advice.

Of course there's no CATR in scalars cause i don't have right XDF... i mean there's no right file for D box anywhere  :(.... back to the drawing board...

Gladly, but you're tellin a noob to switch from A to Y :D. As I understood, hardware is same, I just need to make adjustments cause M is Hitachi and D is Bosch MAF. And M has perfectly good XDF file. Need to learn more :)
