Title: 2.7t allroad rear 02 delete Post by: streacy on November 27, 2017, 03:40:51 PM Hi
I have switched my allroad to a 551L map (thanks all for the help) so i could eventually tune it myself. I am for the time being trying to delete the rear 02 sensors as i will doing a decat and also one of my rear 02 sensors is bad (i.e. internal resistance/heater circuit bank 2 sensor 2). From the reading the s4 wiki i have already zeroed the following: CDSLS changed from 1.00 (0x01) to 0.00 (0x00). CWKONABG changed from 5.00 (0x05) to 1.00 (0x01). CDKAT changed from 1.00 (0x01) to 0.00 (0x00). CWDLSAHK changed from 3.00 (0x03) to 0.00 (0x00). CLALDPE changed from 0.00 (0x00) to 0.00 (0x00). CDHSH changed from 1.00 (0x01) to 0.00 (0x00). CDHSHE changed from 1.00 (0x01) to 0.00 (0x00). CDLATV changed from 1.00 (0x01) to 0.00 (0x00). CDLASH changed from 1.00 (0x01) to 0.00 (0x00). CDLSH changed from 1.00 (0x01) to 0.00 (0x00). CDLSHV changed from 1.00 (0x01) to 0.00 (0x00). CWKONLS changed from 51.00 (0x33) to 17.00 (0x11). All got from the s4 wiki and links attached to it. The problem is i have got rid of the two codes for internal resistance and heater circuit but now i have two new ones 17530- Oxygen(Lambda) sensor heating b2 s2 open circuit and 17881-EVAP leak detection pump open circuit , see attached image. Have I forgotten to zero anything or have i done too much? And why is evap coming up now? Car is running fine too but engine light on Any info appreciated Thanks Title: Re: 2.7t allroad rear 02 delete Post by: _nameless on November 27, 2017, 04:17:03 PM eskonf
Title: Re: 2.7t allroad rear 02 delete Post by: nyet on November 27, 2017, 05:13:06 PM Replace the broken O2 or remove rear o2 in eskonf. You may have other fuel trim issues w/o a properly functioning second set of O2s.
The codeouts you did are for cat efficiency codes, not broken equipment. Title: Re: 2.7t allroad rear 02 delete Post by: streacy on November 27, 2017, 05:41:26 PM Thanks, looked up about eskonf there. Well documented in the s4 wiki, will have to read it again fully but I have my work cut out looking through dekon for me7.1 in the fr and then adjusting it.
I am aware the 02 sensor is kaput and i do intend on changing it very soon but also still doing a decat. So this will still be useful. Thanks for the replies Title: Re: 2.7t allroad rear 02 delete Post by: streacy on November 29, 2017, 05:02:10 AM Searching around and found on the forum that ‘Phil_dot’ has given values for eskonf in the xdf to deal with rear 02 delete.
http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=2980.15 but will this sort out the evap open circuit? Doubting it will If so is another value needed for eskonf so both evap and rear 02s aren’t checked? Title: Re: 2.7t allroad rear 02 delete Post by: nyet on November 29, 2017, 01:17:45 PM If so is another value needed for eskonf so ... evap ... [isn't] checked? Yes. Evap has nothing to do with O2. They are completely separate functions. Title: Re: 2.7t allroad rear 02 delete Post by: dream on December 01, 2017, 02:37:09 PM ESKONF is located above KFLHFM map. Just do a recalculation with the details performed on the S4Wiki and you’ll be good to go.
