Title: Golf GTI 1.8, got a xdf but..
Post by: Martvse on December 16, 2017, 02:18:36 PM
Hi,

My name is Mart. I am new on this forum but read it alot.
I am new to tuning, and still studying it.
I recently got soft launchcontrol mapped in my Opel Bosch ME1.5.5.

Now I want to map it in a Golf Gti 1.8t with a AUM engine. It's the same process as the me1.5.5 and should also work on the me7.5

I got the following ecu in the Gti:

 - '0261207436'         (SSECUHN)
   - '1037362287'         (SSECUSN)
   - '06A906032HJ '       (VAG part number)
   - '0002'               (VAG sw number)
   - '1.8L R4/5VT     '   (engine id)

I found a xdf wich matched with the VAG part number on this forum.

So I started editing the already stage 1 tuned file from the GTI in TunerPro with the found XDF,
but ME7.x correction cant checksum it. Checksums on the standard and stage 1 tune are ok (stage 1 is done by a pro). Also the tables look not how they susposed to be.

I think I need a different xdf for the file. Can somebody help me with this? Or verify that I did something wrong?

Attached is the original file, and a screenshot from bosch ecu number, and the found Xdf..

Download the files: https://ufile.io/bliho

much appreciated,
Mart.

Are you sure your XDF matches your binary?

There's a few different versions of 06A906032HJ. Map packs made for one version don't line up very well with another. You need to ensure your map pack is for version 0002
