Title: Porsche ME7.8 RPM Limiter Post by: mikers4 on February 05, 2018, 11:42:13 PM Hello to all, I have learnt a fair amount from this wonderful website and would like to ask anyone if they knew where on Bosch ME7.8 flash would either an oil or coolant related rpm limiter be located..? I have tried looking for the one like on an Audi but no luck.

Mike Title: Re: Porsche ME7.8 RPM Limiter Post by: mikers4 on February 08, 2018, 07:39:01 AM I have found an oil temperature related limiter and found the temp scale it looks at but the limiter is set at 8500 rpm and the temp scale -48 to 143 degrees so always allowed to rev to maximum rpm. If I alter the limiter to say 2500 rpm it sets to that and limits, but the temp scale alteration has no effect what so ever.

I did it by patching some stuff around KFMDBGRG and then using that. The tmot logic needs inverting. |
