Title: Passat B5.5 instrument into VW T4 Post by: flekous on May 19, 2018, 08:50:24 AM Hi all,
I just swapped dash panel from Passat into T4, but I need some help with fuel gauge and wehicle speed, where fuel has inverted logic and is little shifted and tacho shows wrong speed.. If someone already did something like that, it would be perfect, if not I can try by my self but dont know which adress belongs to fuel gauge and tacho.. Thanks for any help Flek Title: Re: Passat B5.5 instrument into VW T4 Post by: elektronik13 on May 20, 2018, 07:01:57 AM Hi all, your passat, the speed is taken from the gearboxI just swapped dash panel from Passat into T4, but I need some help with fuel gauge and wehicle speed, where fuel has inverted logic and is little shifted and tacho shows wrong speed.. Thanks for any help Flek T4 also has the speed downloaded from the gearbox Or with, ABS has taken speed passat has immo in the meter T4 has no immo in the meter Title: Re: Passat B5.5 instrument into VW T4 Post by: Scheitan on May 21, 2018, 11:29:22 PM You can copy fuelmap from t4 into Passat cluster. Also you can remove immowarning in Fis. But immo led must be desoldered.

quite succesfull to modify fuel gauge map, invert it and flash it back to cluster.. so far so good I found which address has to be modified to see correct speed with speedometer, odometer and I found also K-value, but... The problem is: when I flashed modified bin file with speed and odo, it returned me .def error K-value I did not test for now.. Question is: is there some need of checksum or what can be wrong? (since after fuel map it works perfect) Thanks for any help.. It is possible to remove the immo warning in the eeprom without desoldering the led, but unfortunately I don't have details of how it's done. Title: Re: Passat B5.5 instrument into VW T4 Post by: flekous on November 18, 2018, 05:19:02 AM Hi,
I have no problem with immo, I had removed external immo box and pair new keys and ECU with cluster.. I was succesfull with .def error clean with soft code, but distance is still somehow shifted.. It seems that it still count with old K-value.. Somewhere I found info, that coding should be with "0" at the end, but cluster refuse such value, I guess it's not precoded in.. I tried to understand how it change HEX code with new soft coding, but it change a few numbers in different places.. I have also changed map for tachometer, but it is still also shifted.. For now I'm stuck with K-value.. eh Thanks anyway Flek |
