Title: Ahoy hoy from Shropshire Post by: lkomnino on June 13, 2018, 09:07:31 AM 1st started ecu tinkering with saabs and b204 engines, now moving onto my b6 2.4 v6 cvt (BDV & FYX). Shall be fitting lpg system, but also have plans for induction (super or turbo). Seems the layout if perfect for a supercharger.
Having issues knowing which size my ecu is, as don't know which chip to look for size. quote: "If you are unsure what size your ECU is, a quick google will probably answer the question (search for the part number that nef lists when you connect, e.g. “KWP1281 connect info: 6A906032HN”, and ecu size), if not the flash size is listed on the top of the chip inside of the ECU. You can read a 400BB flash using the 800BB memory layout. It will read an extra 512kb past the end of the file, if you chop it in half you are good to go." A beginners ecu layout guide might be usefull for us, i think the two bigguns are CPUs. |
