Title: KWP2000/TP2.0 module coding Post by: fastboatster on July 04, 2018, 04:18:35 PM I apologize if this question has been asked and answered before, I wasn't able to find clear instructions on how to do this programmatically, though. I know that many modules return their identification, software version, workshop code and coding info as a response after receiving 1A 9B kwp request. Is there any info on the structure of this response? I was able to clearly see ascii strings with part numbers and software versions and numbers which correspond to coding info obtained by other methods, but I don't know how to decode this response in a general way. Similarly, I'm not exactly sure how to construct write request when trying to update coding info and write it back.
