Nefmoto reads codes... Keep in mind though that all the other scanners, nefmoto included, only read engine ECU codes. Unless somebody gets it to work (I couldn't a while ago when I tried) , the software can't really be considered a viable replacement to VAG-COM... which leaves vag-com the only option.
