Title: found string 'GEHEIM''("SECRET") in 1.8T ECU bin file Post by: Borg on September 11, 2018, 11:17:18 AM While disassembling bin file from my car,I found string 'GEHEIM' (+one empty byte 0xFF)="SECRET"(in Dutch) between some subroutines.
By casually looking around it, noticed subroutine calls to SRAM @ 0x38xxxx area (calls 0x38,0xXXXX). And found same string in other ecu bin's. Anyone knows what that code does?
