Title: KRKTE and TVUB Confirmation - Siemens Deka 80lb (875cc)
Post by: PaulB on September 24, 2018, 07:13:17 AM
Hello!

I would like to make a confirmation for KRKTE and TVUB calculation ..

Engine : 1.8T 20V
Displacement : 1984cc (stroked engine )

KRKTE : 0.03905238  ( aprox )
TVUB : Is the FNPW_OFFSET on the TVUB.jpg file?  ::)

you can use this calculator for krkte  http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=4021.0 and fnpw_offset is your tvub. But it depends from the fuelpressure

Note that both offset and krkte depend on pressure.

Hello!!
Thank you ! :)

I will keep the stock 3bar frp! So i suppose the TVUB will be ok..

Also , do i need to modify the Volt axis on the TVUB map ,so they correspond with the siemens deka ''fnpw_offset'' Values?

Note that not all FPRs are 3bar stock, 3 bar is only commonly used as a reference pressure for fuel injectors.

Yes, or re-interpolate.

Also, like flow, TVUB also more or less scales linearly (albeit not quite) with the square root of fuel pressure (as a very rough approximation). Some injector datasheets come with a method for approximating TVUB with respect to voltage and pressure, some have complete charts.

eg. for ev14:

I have the stock 3bar frp , thats for sure..

I Think i will start with the mentioned values and see the STFT..

maybe i will make FKKVS and HFM 1's .. No?

More than one way to skin a cat, but in general, you can all ones FKKVS to start with, and if possible start with a known good stock HFM that matches your MAF and intake setup. If you have a cone filter or any other CAI setup, all bets are off.
