Title: ECU immo 2 problem Post by: byzan a4 on February 05, 2012, 06:49:57 AM Hi guys, I have upgraded my ECU to mE7 from m3.8.3 by changing engine looms and the like, It runs perfect except i am having to use an immo emulator box to allow it to run.
The car is a 1999 Facelift Audi A4 1.8t and AFAIK its immo 2, the dash seems to confirm this and it adapts fine but ecu fails ti let it start. I have the SKC i drew off using Vagtacho, and i also have the following clone tools available to me: MPPS Vagtacho Vagcom VagCommander Galleto 1260 , can i use any of these tools to disable the immo to allow me to remove the box and enable logging via Vagcom as the car if fitted with a GTRS and larger MAF and injectors, i'd like to tune it correctly. Can i maybe get a soic adapter and drag the immo file from the 94c ?? Chip to "fix " it with my willem progger or can it be done with the normal tools.
