Title: Unstable behavior ME 7.5 in CupraR BAM Post by: Fawor on November 17, 2018, 05:14:47 PM Hi there,
I'm creating this topic cause I have any idea more what to do with this issue.. Setup to introduce: - stock BAM in CupraR 1M + hybrid TFSI 064 - intake completly checked, no leaks - new OEM Bosch MAF 86mm - no EVAP, NOLRA set at 7, KFDLBTS and KFFDLBTS set 0 - no EGT - new steel DV I'm making a lot of km cause this is my daily (about 30k km per year) and car has 2 really easy to managed..as I could say..setups: 1. runs like a 'devil', great response, low fuel consumption, car feels in highway driving very 'light' 2. like a small parachute behind a car :( less throttle/boost response, higher consumption, generally less performance. I have to have 4-5% more throttle to stay at the same highway speed, for example 140km/h. I have managed that 'on setup 1.' TARGET lambda is 14,7, on 2. - about 13,9-14,0. Short terms in both almost 0. This is one general difference in logs between those. Ofcourse no faults, clearing faults changes nothing. Car is switching between those two settings as a lottery. At the begining I thought, that this is a MAF issue when MAF is reading different amounts of air and suddenly 'car' is in another place of KFLBTS map (different Load) but I'm sure too, that on 'setup ' all ranges of rpm's are like 'corrected' to another AFR. Car feels worse at driving 80, 100 and 160km/h too. This is not like a switching only 2 near points in the map. I'm almost 100% sure, that it 'sits' somewhere in software, not in the mechanic. Anybody knows such behavior and can help me? I'will be very thanfull... Title: Re: Unstable behavior ME 7.5 in CupraR BAM Post by: yxx499 on November 18, 2018, 04:28:51 PM Logs??
Title: Re: Unstable behavior ME 7.5 in CupraR BAM Post by: Fawor on November 20, 2018, 02:02:24 PM eh, I was driving with a laptop but without logging. It is simple as I wrote: you have another target lambda on 31 with almost 0 correction at 1. Ofcourse Load a little bit different at the same speed cause to reach that I have to use a little bit more throttle. Why target lambda can change when long terms are off?

who did the tune? was the egt removed correctly? why no trims? what egt and iat are you seeing when this happens? Title: Re: Unstable behavior ME 7.5 in CupraR BAM Post by: yxx499 on November 22, 2018, 12:18:21 PM I don`t see how we can help you without datalogs.
