Title: 06A906032DL - 95040 Read - IMMO Help
Post by: sean337 on February 16, 2012, 07:05:52 PM
Hello,

Can someone look at my read from the ST95040 off the backside of an 06A906032DL box and see if it looks like a good complete read?

Also, I am wanting to disable the immobilizer on this box to get a car on the road while its original ecu is out for repair.

I was going to change column 2, row 1 and row 2 from 01 to 02 and then column E row 2 from 23 to 22 and column E row 3 from 22 to 21. Would this be correct to disable the immobilizer?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Thanks, I did read that thread earlier, thats how I found what values I mentioned I want to change. However, I don't know if this is an immo 2 or 3 car, and what I read out of the eeprom doesnt seem to match other files I have seen. Particularly in the middle of the file where I have a bunch of X's. So i was hoping someone here who has done this a few times could take a look and see what I've got.

The file looks OK, someone has already wiped all of the IMMO ID/VIN data from the ECU. All of the FF's look a little strange but its probably fine.

Is there any chance the ECU already has a tuned file, and possibly an immo off in the flash, did you try it out?

If not I think your immo off changes sound right but I don't do rows and columns. You should be going by the address as its easy to change the view to any # of columns.

0x12 change 01 to 02
0x1E change 23 to 22
0x22 change 01 to 02
0x2E change 22 to 21

Thanks for the help kls!

Original ECU for the car had tuning but the ECU failed, so this ECU was sourced from a wrecked vehicle and I believe it is stock because the immobilizer was preventing the car from starting until I flashed in the changes. It is currently running the car just fine.

All of my DL ECU's show FF where the Vin would be with the Later immo 3 would have it.

that includes stock and tuned files.
