Title: Re: Please help Post by: Risky on January 15, 2019, 02:25:41 PM Got a bootmode cable? Even then you dont have the right ECU on hand... how did you break your original? Did you drop it... checksum error perhaps? You need the correct ecu that matches your original or something that is known to be compatible with yours.

After that i readed his flash , and writed my tuned flash from the original one! And ecu was blocked ,vcds dont see it ,car dont started ,and kess cant read/write it in obd ! I removed it from car ,writed it in boot mode with the software with ecu comes and car started ,0dtcs and obd reading and writing is available mow ,but i dont understand why car dont start with my sw , checksumed in ols ,kess do chksum when you write ! So no chksum problems ,no bad tune problems (i think ) but i dont understand why dont work ... same ecu.s me7.5 Title: Re: Please help Post by: Risky on January 15, 2019, 03:48:08 PM The file you are trying to flash isn't compatible to the ecu. For example, 4b0906018DN will not work on a 4b0906018CM even though they are still ME7.5. The part numbers you have are for completely different vehicles.

Title: Re: Please help Post by: Risky on January 15, 2019, 05:29:29 PM Quick question. Does comparing EPK lines give us a rough idea on compatibility?
Title: Re: Please help Post by: RSC on January 15, 2019, 10:17:54 PM I thinked the problem is becous i didnt write the eeprom ,pair of the flash in the new ecu! Can the broblem come from here ?
Title: Re: Please help Post by: nyet on January 16, 2019, 09:38:07 AM Quick question. Does comparing EPK lines give us a rough idea on compatibility? Yes, roughly, but not always. There is no fool proof way to know from just reading the ECU, unfortunately. Title: Re: Please help Post by: Risky on January 16, 2019, 10:56:41 AM Good to know, thank you.
