Title: Question about boost PID Post by: kacperoooni on February 08, 2019, 03:45:43 PM Hi guys... AGAIN!
Just started this topic to find out one thing. I have used n75 valve from unknown source, I'm tuning right know my boost PID to match spec boost. K03-052. 1.1 bar middle 0.8 at the end. The reason I am messing with PID is that it like to overboost to 1.2-1.3bar at 3.5k rpm. Is that the way that things should go? Should I tweak boost PID at this boost level? Or is it just my crappy n75? :p Thanks in advance. Title: Re: Question about boost PID Post by: gman86 on February 08, 2019, 08:17:39 PM Don't use random boost solenoids. You don't know what frequency they're designed for + the frequency that your ECU uses. You could end up chasing boost target issues forever.

Chasing a 0.1bar overshoot? Are you just eye-balling this with a gauge? Title: Re: Question about boost PID Post by: kacperoooni on February 09, 2019, 11:07:53 AM This n75 is spare part for oem n75 for 1.8t. I'm using me7logger

these experts are fricken amazing, and know what's going on - good or bad! by your logs alone - like an "me7 turbo whisperer" Title: Re: Question about boost PID Post by: nyet on February 10, 2019, 06:48:02 PM None of what you asked makes a lick of sense until you post logs.
