Title: 2.0TFSI - intake flap tune out Post by: vtraudt on February 10, 2019, 07:40:20 AM I want to get rid of the intake flap system on some EA113 TFSI cars.
Just disconnecting the actuator and leaving flap open (or remove) is throwing codes and can cause cold start issue. Has someone tune it out and adjusted the tune to avoid cold start issues? They're not a restriction on the EA888 as they lie flat when open. They’re needed for swirreling the air to help mix the fuel in the cylinder? Or am not not thinking straight?

Disabling fault codes isn't enough, you need to kill the LBK function.
