Thank you. P.S: ECU is for illustration purposes only, this harness will be used on ME7.1 & 7.5 ECUs. Title: Re: Please Validate my custom bench table Harness Post by: professor on February 25, 2012, 12:53:07 AM ??? ;D
Title: Re: Please Validate my custom bench table Harness Post by: littco on February 25, 2012, 09:22:03 AM Looks good but you don't need 12v on pin 21 and no 6ohm resistor needed for the boot pin on 24.

According to image i attach 12V should power PINS: 3 ,21 & 62. Also A resistor from my experience should be used, cause my ECU was broken after trying to ground it without resistor. A 6k Ohm would be ok? Title: Re: Please Validate my custom bench table Harness Post by: professor on February 25, 2012, 11:09:14 AM The above post attachment.
Title: Re: Please Validate my custom bench table Harness Post by: carlossus on February 26, 2012, 09:38:02 AM A 6k Ohm would be ok? Better to stay < 1k or you might not pull-down effectively. Switch is connected to pin 3 in order to simulate ignition key. Pin 62 is continuous powered with 12+V. Pin 21 is not used. I test 6k Ohm and 10K Ohm resistor and boot mode was enabled without problem. |
