Title: Big Injectors Post by: cessnas on April 07, 2019, 12:55:01 AM What injectors should I get that is 850cc + at 3bar?
Been running some siemens deka 875cc but the spray pattern sucks balls. Had some Bosch 550cc that was great but they where too smal. Would prefer to get some injectors that have been used alot before so that KRKTE and TVUB can be easily implemented. Normal price is like 80-100 us dollars each injector? Do you tuned your car with this injectors? What can you say about them? Thanks in advance if you can respond this questions ^^ Title: Re: Big Injectors Post by: svn on April 09, 2019, 08:53:45 AM Normal price is like 80-100 us dollars each injector? Do you tuned your car with this injectors? What can you say about them? Thanks in advance if you can respond this questions ^^ I paid ~50Euro (~57USD) each injector here in Germany plus 30-40Euro for a set of lenght adaptors (can't remember the exact price). Yes, i tuned my own car (Ibiza Cupra AQX with BAM ECU) and a S3 BAM from a friend who had siemens deka 875cc previously. Both cars are not finished yet but running fine on about 1,3-1,4bar boost (5120Hack still missing due to lack of time :-X) Good cold start, good hot start, good idle, at the moment can't say anything negative about the bosch injectors. Compared to the siemens injectors the tuning for the bosch was easy peasy. I think i found krkte and tvub here in the forum and tweaked it a little bit but i can look it up and post my krkte and tvub here if you are interested. I live in Brazil, here this injectors cost around 160USD each. Yeah, things here are pretty hard haha. The best price I found was in eBay (garanteed genuine) (80USD each). https://www.ebay.com/itm/79-99-980cc-93-5lb-BOSCH-0280158040-EV14-Extended-Nozzle-Factory-Boxed/271189779016 About the fitment on the fuel rail, do you need to use spacers or injectors extenders? My car runs on E100 (here on brazil we have E100 on pump), so your KRKTE will not fit my setup, but If you can send me the TVUB data. Title: Re: Big Injectors Post by: cessnas on April 10, 2019, 01:11:03 AM Ive orderd some bosch 850cc EV14 injectors. They're basically the same as the 550cc injectors but more cc/min.
Dont suppose anyone has the KRKTE and TVUB values for them? Title: Re: Big Injectors Post by: adam- on April 10, 2019, 01:57:28 AM Do they not come with them?
Title: Re: Big Injectors Post by: cessnas on April 10, 2019, 06:06:31 AM Do they not come with them? They come with Offset i suppose, but doubt KRKTE. Will see when they get here:D Or i'll just have to use the dynamic KRKTE calculator Title: Re: Big Injectors Post by: svn on April 16, 2019, 07:49:36 AM I live in Brazil, here this injectors cost around 160USD each. You need injector extenders as the 980cc are shorter than the original ones. This is the TVUB i used 7,04 10,07 12,04 14,08 17,81 2,8003 1,8002 1,2988 1,0001 0,6988 Title: Re: Big Injectors Post by: dal on April 16, 2019, 09:31:39 AM Hey, sorry for the late reply. One thing, fuel pressure or fuel type (with different densities) have influence on TVUB? Title: Re: Big Injectors Post by: cessnas on April 16, 2019, 10:56:07 AM Thanks for the numbers. Both KRKTE and TVUB are influenced by fuel pressure yes Title: Re: Big Injectors Post by: dal on July 01, 2019, 05:04:17 PM Hey, sorry for the late reply. Title: Re: Big Injectors Post by: overspeed on July 02, 2019, 08:11:46 PM those 550cc injectors suck with E100... they clog very easy- quick, holes are too small for ethanol.

Why would the holes plug easily when using E100 vs. pump gasoline? Is the fuel not filtered? Title: Re: Big Injectors Post by: dal on August 07, 2019, 06:53:25 AM Why would the holes plug easily when using E100 vs. pump gasoline? Is the fuel not filtered? Yeah, thats my question too... Title: Re: Big Injectors Post by: prj on August 07, 2019, 01:00:56 PM Almost any injectors go bad/jam/get clogged if you let the car sit with a lot of ethanol in them for a long time.
This is because ethanol binds moisture. Even worse with methanol. So you need to either use the car regularly or put gasoline into it and run it for a bit before you store it. Yeah, we are used to this here in Brazil, as we have E100. Normal procedures hehehehe. |
