Post by: phila_dot on February 27, 2012, 06:41:55 PM I'm pretty sure that is Spen's tool that he wrote. I don't think he is planning on releasing it.

Why spen doesn't want to release his app to the public?
Title: Re: What is the software : "WinScanME7xx'' ? Post by: spen on April 26, 2012, 06:35:03 AM It's a VB app I wrote to locate key data points, code structures and other stuff which interested me in the ME7.1 binaries. As someone noted, it rocked on the S4 due to the closeness of the binaries. When it extrapolated for general ME7 it was less accurate, ie got the location right but when building the xdf stuff like the data scales, the signed or not signed etc was usually out. The software won't be released in to the wild. I can't release it, some of the information I have been given is conditional on the software remaining with me. And this is exactly why it took so long for me to get my own tune done. I refused to take anything with those conditions. Which is a lot harder than it sounds. |
