Title: Possible locked ecu? Post by: Integrated_20 on April 24, 2019, 01:40:07 PM I inserted my oem bin file plus the one I've been trying to flash to my 02 s4. I ran it through me7sum and it passed. then when I try me7check it fails. Tried flashing to my car and no luck. Can someone help me figure out why this is happening. I was told by previous owner that the car might have a apr flash on it but when I read ecu info I didnt see anything

Are you still able to start the engine and connect to your ECU using VCDS for example If not, i think your ECU is bricked and has to be revived using bootmode. Title: Re: Possible locked ecu? The first time I tried to read ecu info I was able too. Then when I tried yesterday it wouldn't come up..?

That is why I tried downloading the stock bin file and modifying that to go back on the car. Could it be a voltage issue?
