Title: Moates road runner: Name of Connectors? Post by: nbdiy on May 14, 2019, 12:44:47 AM Hi, can someone here tell me the name of the 44-pin connectors from moates road runner? Or are these there own build?
I would like to build some own cables If someone knows technical name of the emulation headers I would be thankful too, as buying in the US is always a long-time process for me Title: Re: Moates road runner: Name of Connectors? Post by: aef on May 14, 2019, 05:22:40 AM IDE from old harddrive maybe?

Harwin M50 seriesI would like to build some own cables If someone knows technical name of the emulation headers I would be thankful too, as buying in the US is always a long-time process for me You want 2 cables mated together between Moates and ECU to locate the pins correctly. Buy a couple of crimpconnectors too. You can easily create the byteswap yourself. Only one connector is needed but you might fail on first attempt. The PSOP44 header is most certainly a custom part that you still need to buy from Moates. Title: Re: Moates road runner: Name of Connectors? Post by: nbdiy on May 14, 2019, 01:22:26 PM Thanks, I didnt found harwin with 44-pins, but this helped me finding them: I found IDC 1,27mm 2x22 connectors, which will be pretty much the right ones
I have already cables from moates, but as they are twisted, I always have to connect two of them, which is some kind of annoying, and they sometimes make contact-problems So I wanted to build one myself and few more for other purposes Title: Re: Moates road runner: Name of Connectors? Post by: matt on May 16, 2019, 09:32:38 PM The headers are available in 6 packs:
