Title: ASM fun = bricked ecu Post by: kacperoooni on October 31, 2019, 03:34:15 PM Hi guys,
Today I tried to "patch" my 032DK ecu with my self-made asm code. The main reason was to learn something new. After I flashed my ecu with patch binary engine started normally but after couple of seconds ecu bricked itself. I tried disconnecting baterry but it didnt help. I'll try to flash it in boot mode but now its like -10 degree celcius and 3am so I'll do it in two days. But one thing don't let me sleep now. Is that possible to brick ECU forever with wrong asm patches, I mean something like damaging physically anything in circuit. Extremely unlikely, but possible. The #1 thing you can blow out is the ignition drivers. Title: Re: ASM fun = bricked ecu Post by: fknbrkn on October 31, 2019, 09:33:41 PM or just blown the fuse
