Title: PnP aftermarket ECU for Euro models Post by: GolfSportWagen on November 22, 2019, 08:40:45 PM In another thread I inquired about the availability of aftermarket ECUs that would properly interface with a 2008 VW R32 and the general consensus was that this was unlikely. While searching for something unrelated I happen to come across a UK ECU system supplier by the name of Syvecs that does offer PnP systems for a variety of popular late model Euro models. While most people visiting these forums may not be interested in a relatively expensive aftermarket engine management system, these PnP systems may be useful for folks looking to go from an NA engine to a forced induction (FI) engine while retaining all of the complex electronics on modern vehicles with a manual or DSG trans. The Syvecs S7Plus appears to be a relatively user friendly fully configurable ECU system viable for street or track use.
I have no association with Syvecs but may actually purchase one of their systems to try. https://www.syvecs.com/ecu-plug-play-kits/ Title: Re: PnP aftermarket ECU for Euro models Post by: totti on November 23, 2019, 04:47:50 PM This one is also pnp http://www.ignitronecu.com/?page=home&lang=en

Title: Re: PnP aftermarket ECU for Euro models Post by: dream on November 28, 2019, 03:33:52 AM Link also has an PnP ECU:
https://www.linkecu.com/products/plugin-ecus/audi/ It also caps DWB but you will need an external wideband lambda (like innovate or sorta) controller for lambda control in the ECU. It looks like a pretty decent system without to much modding at your OEM loom. In the past I have been working with Link management on a Nissan S13 but that's already long time ago, but the system works pretty good. This one is also pnp http://www.ignitronecu.com/?page=home&lang=en https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/my-minor-modding-thread.76389/page-83This guy also used this ECU at his S3 and looks pretty common. Some DSG support is also there. Works good enough to drive. |
