Post by: MOOMO on December 17, 2019, 10:57:48 PM
Hello fellows

My dsg dq250 cxx bought it tuned to stage 1 some brand ~
I wanted to upgrade to  stage 3 file for but it seems I have a fault code on it
That scared the tuner we won’t tune it until code is fixed the car drives, shift fine
What’s your thoughts?

Fault code is 18148

Are you seriously going to make everyone look up what that code is? Why wouldn't you just put it in your post?

Why not look at the basic knowledge and think for yourself?

All of the sensors in the trans feed into the mechatronic. For this particular code, you can try to replace the clutch temp sensor by itself..50/50 chance it's just the sensor. You'll need to remove the mech to get it in/out. If that doesn't resolve, you'll need to have the mech replaced/ repaired. Tuner is on the right track with his decision.

Thanks man
This fault exists with the old mech, i  replaced the mech
but never changed the temp sensor so fault came again
I just want to confirm  that writing new file won’t damage
The mech while writing the file because of this fault
