Post by: nickw on March 05, 2020, 10:44:49 AM
how can I tell if my ecu utilizes an st10 processor? The particular ecu 4B0 906 018 CM is out of a 2004 vw passat I grabbed from Kenny u-pull for a friends car, I cant get me7eeprom to work on the ecu (connection error codes) and nefmoto comes up with this

I believe you probably need to open the ECU case to confirm the ST10 chip exists. It is definitely in the MK V ME 7.1.1 R32 ECU but the 2004 Passat is most likely different.

would the processor say st10 on it? I looked it over a few times but they look like any other ecu. I did a google search on identifying one but couldn't find much info on them.
