Title: 3bar MAP Sensor calibration - Simos 10
Post by: felix297 on March 08, 2020, 09:54:14 AM
Hi, I have a question regarding calibration of different MAP sensors on Simos 10.
Stock 2.5bar sensor calibration is like this:
0,200V = 91,97hPa
5V = 2690 hPa

After changing the PUT sensor for 3bar I checked pressures, (see 1st pic, MAP sensor still stock, engine not running)

For 3bar sensors I now changed the values to:
0,4V = 200hPa
4,65V = 3000hPa

The PUT sensor is now reading higher pressure values around 1130-1140hPa, which throw the air mass calculations off.
I dont think I should manipulate sensor calibration data to represent values. Does anyone know if theres another variable (offset?) which I have to change?

Hey, Felix, you dont, you only need to change the values to the 3bar map sensor values, did this on my Ibiza 1.2tsi running 1.8bar on Simos 10 with 3 bar maps and never had a problems, there's three conversion maps for MAPS sensor, PUT, MAP and After intercooler one. Send me a PM or your file here and ill scale, just tell us what sensor youre running.

Your values are wrong, that is why you have wrong reading.

0.4V is 100hpa, not 200hpa, at least on VAG sensor.

Don't take sensor values like a sheep from forum. Load OEM calibration that uses this sensor (diesel or SIMOS12/18) and take value from there.

Thank you for your answers! The part number is 0281002401 038906051C
The specsheets  (https://ecutek.zendesk.com/hc/article_attachments/115008752449/Bosch_Sensor_data_sheet.png)I found for a similar Bosch 3bar sensor and DSSGRAD(=658 hPa/V) from 1.4 TSI MED17.5.5 damos had the values listed in my first post, which is why I'm a bit confused.

I'll try 0,4V=100hPa + 4,65V=3000hPa next.

I have also attached the file. Running stock sensor currently
Offsets for MAP and PUT are 1c7a5c and 1c7a64 I think
