Title: Converting TO a Returnless Fuel System
Post by: adam- on March 29, 2020, 12:28:08 PM
This is going to sound crazy, but after seeing the R32 returnless fuel rail on the MK5, I like it.  It's neater, etc.

Why are returnless fuel systems hated so much, what makes them difficult?  And does anyone have a good method of converting TO one?  How does the filter see a boost source?

FPR works with the atmospheric pressure
and thats the main reason to hate it with turbo applications - fuel pressure stays the same all the time limiting injector flow
ECU adjust primary fueling by the FPLFSDP depending on calculated (or measured) manifold pressure
Also fuel filter costs more so this option more suitable for NA engines
