Title: A4 1.8T B7 BFB Stage 2 Changing Injectors remap Post by: chrismfz on April 17, 2020, 08:37:21 AM Question, maybe stupid but still remains a question.
I got a Stage 2 file that works very well and I am happy with it. But I want someday to change Injectors and fuel pump to get ready for a future turbo upgrade. Is is possible to edit the Stage 2 to work the same (or better) when I change the injectors with bigger ones? It's an A4, B7, 2005, 1.8T Quattro, BFB Engine. Stock turbo, stock injectors. ECU info: HW: 0261208524 SW: 1037372505 8E0909518AQ 0010 It's already running with the Stage 2 file and stock injectors. If I am corrent it runs with 315cc injectors. I might use 630cc in the future but without changing anything else. Just "preparing" it. Sharing tuner files is not allowed AFAIK.

Nothing wrong with a bit of experimentation, but you'd be best served spending that time on preemptively learning to write your own file from scratch or based on a community file. I got clones. VCDS/KESS/MPPS v16/v18. That's how I managed to get the original file, dig, found a few Stage 1 and Stage 2 and play. It's not my field of expertise (I'm IT/Admininistrator) but I would like to learn/dig/know better. As a hobby mostly. I would like to mess around more like you said, but can't find the software tools. I understand that I need something like WinOLS, ECM or TunerPro -if I am right from what I've read-, but didn't find them anywhere (a working copy) and too much $ to buy for just one car and your hobby.
