I've tried different cables with different ports, I've tried different ecu's, different harnesses, different power supplies, etc. I can't get either of my ebay dumb cables to work with ME7EEPROM.EXE. Is your calbe recognised in device manager and driver is ftdi 2.12.28? This also went down when my original blue cable died. I kept getting SH cables instead of FTDI cables, that ended up being the issue.
