Hello . i have swapped 2.7t in a6 c6 and im running 3.0 bbj ecu . But i cant find KRKTE ,KFKHFM, MLHFM , MLOFS to get engine running properly . 4F0 907 559 0261208340 381174

Thank you what offset u use for krkte it seems to be 0,12765 with 0,000111 i will test and report but it takes time cuz i have problems writing it no boot mode or obd2 possible only desoldering of 29f800 Thank u again .

yes but i disconnected them . i was trying with 2.7 ecu controlling engine ans separate ecu feeded with rpm to drive can bus and control gearbox but it did not work. so i wired up bbj ecu to control engine just to drive the car to 4000 rpm after i switch to manual gearbox i will put 2.7 ecu with manual flash and hope everything get running but for now i have to start the engine to get it mooving . It will be perfecf if was possible to convert 8 cyl rom from 4.2 to 6 cyl because active engine mounts will run and it uses same nws controll with one point .

Without a powertrain compatible ECU absolutely nothing will work and dash will be like a christmas tree.
If you have a 6HP19 in there, and you can manage to mate it to the engine, then that's even better than manual I think - it can be tuned, and it holds about 600nm.
It is also possible to fit a 6HP28 to the car, which holds 1200nm. I don't see any point to fit manual.

If the 3.0 ECU runs the engine (firing order and sensors give reasonable values? Or do you have errors for cam sensors?) then most likely that's the only way to go.

But honestly, if you can't even find KRKTE yourself I don't see how you are going to succeed at this. This will need a massive amount of code patches to make it work.

sure . Engine runs great with 3.0 ecu shifting perfect . i dont want ro remove auto (6hp19 3.2 fsi ) but this is the only way if i want 2.7 motronic. Or to build some can translator between 2.7 allroad ecu ans 6hp. For now its enough just to drive it . Thank you for help

bbj controls 4 shafts with 4 solenoids 2.7 uses 2 to control 4 . Another way will be to put ASN heads with camshafts and vvt but i dont want thm .

can you use a 2.7t ecu thats me7.1.1 and take can configuration from the v8 file to make the trans shift right? like a late model a6 or allroad ecu for the downer. ive done something similar with a auto beetle engine that was swapped in was a wideband from a 5 speed auto. changed can configuration for the 4 speed by porting the trans can configurations to the new wideband ecu and it worked perfect 

i think we are getting off the topic and we may be punished .But if this is possible i will pay the price for somebody who can do it for me . Im happy even that i can drive the car now with new krkte and bosch maf . ASN BBJ engines was mounted on b6 and c5 platform too but they are with 5hp19 gearbox. I have tried modifying ecu id and software version of 2.7 ROM to match 4f rom but gearbox says incorrect software version. But sees rpm for cluster and gearbox sees throttle plate , torque and engine state( running , off and etc) .

Here i have only this its for 4.2 v8 5v BAT engine . Im using 4b c5 eeprom but i have c6 bbj if help u .

i have missed one file here is for 3.0 a6 c6 eeprom upper one is for c5 0.5kb 95040 this one is from 95p08 i think

i spent a little time today looking threw fr and it looks like cwgc is the can trans coding. i looked threw the a usdm a8l file with the 6 speed auto and it looks like cwgc is set as 10. i looked in a usdm me7.1.1 2.7 file and it has cwgc and it has 2 maps one is 0 and the other is 15. im assuming is variant coding for auto / manual? if  you wanna try and run the usdm 2.7t file with the calibrations ported lmk ill post it

yes i saw this variants with version 10 and etc . Just tell me what version of 2.7 ecu i have to find and wire up . For now i have only D-box its working with G-box flash and Mbox flash or i need to get allroad 4z ecu becouse of newer cpu ? do i have to flash gearbox to 4.2 software on it or i have to leave it to 3.0 becouse two files are with diferent torque limitations ? If u need i can post info from vcds about versions currently running .



Edit : if this will help u with 3.0 software and wrong coding says incorrect software version

with 4.2 flash on geaebox and 3.0 in ecu says same


with 3.2fsi flash on gearbox says again incorrect version
2.7t auto flash i think it was G-box incorrect version
4.2 auto with 4.2 auto works great but i was with two ecus and there was nothing to close throttle or retard and at 2k rpm starts to open and close torque converter and it was thinkin that im deceleeating(overrun)

CANVERS, FMOTC i think will need to be copped over. i dont know for sure if it would work with the older 2.7 ecu, id think staying with the closest generation would be most forgiving but i coud be wrong . i dont have good damos for the early me7.1 ecus. ill have a look around the forum and see what i can find 

i think i have fully defined 4z BEL or bes engine damos , thats the block im using to build the engine . If not  get it working i will go to manual i bought the geaebox next half of year will get other parts. Dont waste your time with me :) im happy that i have krkte

Marty it worked . Now im driving with 4z7 allroad ecu shifts even better than 3.0 ecu from bbj . but i have to add speed signal to ecu and maf sensor . Thank you verry much friend . Awesome forhm with awesome people with big brains .

Try setting CWGGVFZG to 1, that takes it from the dash.
Or 2, that will take it from the ABS.

You need to check CW_CAN_R though for which messages it's listening to, and also make sure there's no fault code for that message.

if you get a chance can you upload a few pictures of the engine in the bay and some pictures of the car?

I will try abs speed signal that u say . I was hinking to laser cut ring with toots and attach it to driveshaft with 5hp or 01e sensor . . its a bit messy with wirings in engine bay but everything is getting in shape . Now its N/A im using 3.2 manifolds and cats just to get it run . Im making custom manifolds , downpipes and exhaust systems from stainless steel and im planning to do it with single turbo top mounted it have a lot of space . Im havving issues with coding abs and getting fans to work . Now im sniffing signal to fan module and i will made little box arduino controlled pwm to control fans for a/c , engine cooling and active engine mounts .



pp After leaving allroad ecu to control whole car is getting communication issues with vag com . Im using geniuine ross tech and after 30 sec on can bus gives error. No problems with K-bus .

The gearbox should have the file that is originally for it. Don't try to crossflash, because there can be hardware differences.
Gearbox can be tuned to do whatever.

I have tested it it was from 3.2 FSI simos ecu . Cross flashed it to 4.2 BAT engine and it was running ever better with dual ecu setup but it was cutting the throttle  and no TC lock because of missing 99% of sensors . Flashed after that to BBJ 3.0 MPI because i was using this ecu that started the topic and maybe i still will be drive it  with this ecu if Marty did not tell me what do try . I dont have time to finsh the project and see what will happend when she see boost . I have to try to put original flash for grarbox to see is the sjmos ussing same can  commands.

CWGGVFZG Set to 2  VSS working . Thank you prj . I have 150 km drive no issues for now . I have to disable some dtc for brake boost pump and airbag crash signal. Because i have only this left . One big red brake sign on dasgboard . But i can live with it :)  Thank you again guys .

ABS softcoding 0005025 for bosch esp8 4F0910517L works without any additional software manipulating .

I got an 2.7T Swap too. Are u still in the game? Did u fixed problems with the Speedsignal on Can? The Tank Clap problem is in mine too. And how do your car start? I got a button but then the rest of this C6 stands in ignition on not in KL.50 starting. Did u implementing the BBJ ECU. I Got 4Z7907551N BES ECU. My Car is a manual one. MAybe you could help me a bit.

There is arduaudi controler guys are developing for b7 platform with 2.7 swap they implement start signal via CAN , ac contrroll , fan control and cruise control look for it (i build my own with lcd) . For starter i hooked to ign lock to get 5v signal and enable relay im keeping it simple but i have heared that is possible me7.1.1 to output signal and cut when engine start ,but i dont need this . Update on post Car is now on Hybrid turbos and its driving good 15K+ KM. Still auto, little annoying , laggy and cuts boost till 3k but on S is perfect :)
