I've been given an ECU that has a stage 1 map.. its an me7.5 for a 1.8T without vvt, WB O2, electric throttle etc, so no good for me and my AWT, but it has a tune for a k04 turbo with S3 injectors. I tried using nefmoto to read the flash but i get a popup saying locked by programmer.. How do I read the flash? Happy to share it if I can get it off. I believe the ecu was used on a 1999 A4 If I plug in my car, it wont start as immo still on. That said, even if you do read the flash (which can be done) odds are all of the locations for the maps were moved so blindly flashing the file to another car is all that can be done. Flash over it with a stock file and move on.
