Title: MTX Checksum Plugin? Post by: rob.mwpropane on April 24, 2012, 08:27:10 AM Hey guys,
I've been meaning to get around to figuring out tunerpro and getting the plugin, and I'm finally at that point. I have WinOLS, and love it, but I want to learn both. For now I would like to just update the checksum without worrying about how accurate my xdf is. I noticed that you have to have an xdf in order to use the plugin, but does it matter what the xdf is? What I mean is, if I have an xdf from an HS box, and put it on my CH box (I know they don't line up :P), will the plugin still update the checksum. I assume that it does, I just wanted some insight from people who might know. (I hate assuming) FYI, I couldn't figure out what section to put this in, so if it needs to be moved, by all means. I apologize for that. Thanks in advance. Title: Re: MTX Checksum Plugin? Post by: phila_dot on April 24, 2012, 11:48:22 AM The plugin doesn't rely on the xdf. It is just associated to it.

Thanks phila, any chance you know the difference between VAG_ME7 and VAG_ME7-2002? When are you going to come out with a book on all the stuff you know?;) Title: Re: MTX Checksum Plugin?
