Title: Corrupt EEPROM? Programming Not Finished P1681 Had leaky capacitors Post by: mdccode5150 on October 30, 2020, 05:39:20 PM I purchased a 2003 Audi TT 180HP for MOM. It had a blown head gasket. I got that fixed and the vacuum lines, but now it has a check engine light and the code below. I re-flashed a known good file that also reads 100% same as mine, and didn't fix it. So I purchased a new used ECM/ECU and put one of the top virgin eeprom's (ddillenger's) on it...it runs and no check engine. I tried to adapt it with VCDS and no go. I then checked it with eepromtool_04.exe (see below) and noticed it's a IMMO2, and mines an immo3. Can someone help with checking or fixing my EEPROM? or modifying a virgin with my information? Thanks

PS I have tried MPPS 13, and 18 Galletto in boot mode. Title: Re: Corrupt EEPROM? Programming Not Finished P1681 Had leaky capacitors Post by: mdccode5150 on November 02, 2020, 12:34:24 AM Problem solved did everything (change 2D 0D) over with the new ecm/ecu then checksummed it with MPPS V16, and that worked (for the new one), but the old one had to be bootmode and now it works (it's a little slow on the uptake, but good for emergencies).
Also WinOLS failed to catch the checksums (2) |
